Alex Danvers : Kara, just listen to yourself.

Supergirl : I love this city. The lights... in all the windows. I love that... behind every window, there's a story. Someone's eating take-out with their boyfriend. Someone's playing board games with their kids.
[little sigh]
Supergirl : To me, every person in the city is a light. And every time I've helped one of them, a little bit of their light has become a part of me. I've never been happier than when I've been Supergirl. I know what happened wasn't... exactly my fault, my... my brain was altered.
[shakes her head]

Cat Grant : Oh, please. I've base jumped Mount Kilimanjaro. Do you really think you scared me? Well, okay, yes, you did... scare me.

[hangs her head]
Supergirl : I scared the whole city. And now I'm so afraid that I'm never gonna win them back.
Cat Grant : Well,
[sighs]
Cat Grant : if you came here for me to tell you that everything is gonna be okay,
[shakes her head]
Cat Grant : I can't do that. It's not that easy.
Supergirl : [sighs tearfully] I know.
Cat Grant : Now, I said it's not gonna be easy, but I didn't say it would be impossible. Personally, I don't believe in failure. Not if you get back up and face the music. It takes time. But if anybody can win this city back... it's you.
Supergirl : Can I just sit here for a little while?
Cat Grant : Of course.
[Supergirl sits there forlornly staring out from the balcony]

Mean Girl : [to loner girl dressed up as heroine] So, you think you're Supergirl? If I shoved you, could you fly?
[her two friends chuckle]
Mean Girl : You look so stupid.
Costumed Girl : No, I don't.
Mean Girl : Everybody thinks so, that's why you don't have any friends.
Supergirl : [landing] I wouldn't say that.
[to Laura:]
Supergirl : I actually think you look pretty awesome.
Costumed Girl : Thanks.
Mean Girl : Laura, do you know Supergirl?
Supergirl : Yeah, I'm friends with all the nice girls.
[pats Laura's shoulder]
Supergirl : See you later.
[takes off]

Kara Danvers : [dressed unlike her old self, causing jaws to drop] What? I was getting tired of my old clothes.
Siobhan Smythe : [snide] Yeah, we all were.

Siobhan Smythe : [after Cat gave Kara the tickets] Do you even know how to dance?

Siobhan Smythe : [on her cell-phone to rival newspaper] I'm almost done with this e-mail. This is the scoop of your life.
Kara Danvers : [approaching] Hi, Siobhan!
Siobhan Smythe : What do you want?
[snarling under her breath:]
Siobhan Smythe : Stalker.

Supergirl : [after rescuing Ms. Grant after tossing her off balcony] True power, Cat, is deciding who will live and who will die. And... don't ever call me again.
[takes off]

Kara Danvers : I don't want to be the rebound girl, Alex.
Alex Danvers : Ugh. He likes you, you like him, okay? Rebound relationships, they can work.
Kara Danvers : Name one.
Alex Danvers : Kim and Kanye
Kara Danvers : I'm embarrassed you even know that.
