An isolated monastery. A priest and pregnant young women refuged in saint place. Obscure invaders. And presumed victory of evil. A simple story, inspired cinematography, well crafted tension and the fair end. Medieval pieces , the dormitory air and the eyes of invaders . Short, good adaptation of old folklore legend.

Warning: Spoilers
Saw the youtube comments for this short film. People saying ''incredible'', ''wonderfully done'', ''mind blowing'', ''pure tension and horror'', ''horror masterpiece'' and more like these. The concept is simple ''Set in a small, isolated 19th century Irish home for unwed mothers, a young pregnant woman must fight for her survival as the home falls siege to a group of mysterious invaders.''In my opinion this short film fails to create any kind of tension, suspense or horror. It's under 6 minutes but i've seen other short films that were able to create a great atmosphere and tension in less than 5 minutes.

The only thing i liked about this film was the performance of Andy McPhee (the priest / father Michael) which i found to be intriguing. The creatures look awful, not scary at all. They look like some weird combination of female and wolf or something like that. The film also has some gore but it doesn't help in any way to make the film more terrifying. The ending is tasteless too and the use of background music is not the best. The performances are decent. The recipe they use in this film has been used before but that's not the problem, it's that the execution is really mediocre.

Overall i find this short film to be dull and uninteresting. My rating is 4/10.
