Moves the story along nicely.

A little slower than the first episode, and not quite so shocking, but enjoyable and moves the story along nicely. The acting remains strong, and the cast are all very fitting in their roles. The atmosphere is also a highlight of this show in general, especially with the scenic shots and eerie music.

Micky will leave you guys to it, for now!

Episode two manages to fit in a lot more within the run time for me and I found it a lot more compelling to watch. Again we the audience are treated to stunning visuals with some top notch cinematography. (Lucy Fry) discussing further my review of the previous episode it points out how Lucy Fry could possible be a little more traumatised being the grand scale of the loved ones she has just lost at the hands of Micky Taylor. I'd like to revoke them comments by saying I feel it is more within the writing where this isn't prominent, than the actresses responsibility to convey this message, as I feel the actress appears very charismatic in this episode and fully capable of pulling off these emotions.

Eve is left vulnerable and uncomfortable early on as a group of men eye her up in a predatory manor moments after she is caught nursing and cleaning her foot injured in a trap. What's evident hear is Eve isn't afraid, she has been granted the ability to fear less when all has been taken from her. Playing the part of a survivor very much so she has forced it upon herself to fend for herself! Continuing on from episode one the vehicle she has acquired might be more hassle than she bargained for. Ultimately she is a teenage girl without resources trying to survive any way she possibly can. Eve has managed to cross paths with the wrong type of people and stolen out of desperation to find her parents killer yet one can only think it's like taking candy off a baby in comparison to what is in store for her if she finds Mick Taylor.

Mick Taylor (John Jarratt) has less to do here however each time he graces the screen it feels intriguing, except this time he'll feel a little upstaged like there is another rooster in the hen house. Still, it's the (John Jarratt) show though which means there will be trouble ahead for anybody daft enough to cross him.

(Dustin Clare) Sullivan Hill claims he isn't willing to give up on the case easy showing his tenacity by stumbling upon Eve once more although he still seem a little incompetent when it comes to maintaining her presence. Story wise this all becomes a little far fetched, if you are able to 'suspension your disbelief', for a moment you'll happily go along for the ride.
