In this episode, Steven Bauer gives Ray's son unsolicited advice to steer him away from his father's "bad ass" job as a "fixer" and his role in Hollywood; stating that his boss Ray is "not a gangster" and explains that the life of a criminal isn't something to be admired and/or sought after. In perhaps his most infamous role, Bauer portrays 'Manny' in the movie Scarface (1983), opposite Al Pacino playing the role of his right hand and head of security of a Miami drug cartel.
