Madame Lebrun is the Quebec adaptation of Mrs. Brown's Boys, the popular Irish sitcom that has aired on the BBC since 2011. The main character is a man who plays a completely crazy mother, trying to direct the destinies of all her family members. The series adopts a more informal style where production errors and the antics mainly initiated by the lead actor are shown in each episode. The 30-minute show is filmed live in front of a studio audience that can be seen at the beginning and the end of each episode. Each recorded episode is obviously a great treat for the audience. Madame Lebrun is a series of very accessible humor, opened to a very wide audience, and performed by the stars of Quebec comedy.
