The critically acclaimed Breaking Bad spin-off Better Call Saul is set to air its final episode, titled “Saul Gone,” soon. After seven years and six seasons, fans will finally see whether Jimmy McGill a.k.a. Saul Goodman a.k.a. Gene Takovic (Bob Odenkirk) finds any semblance of redemption or if he’s too far gone.
How will showrunner Peter Gould and his writing team choose to present one of the most long-awaited conclusions in recent TV history? That remains to be seen, but everyone in Saul-world seems to be excited for what they’ve come up with.
Actor Bob Odenkirk told the LA Times that while he doesn’t promise that his character will become a “good-hearted, generous, caring person”, he does believe that fans will like where his journey ends. Similarly, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Breaking Bad mastermind and Better Call Saul co-creator Vince Gilligan...

It’s a toss up whether Chris Hardwick or Aisha Tyler are more busy these days, but add yet another new project to Tyler’s column. The actress and comedian has been tapped to host AMC’s “Unapologetic with Aisha Tyler,” a new talk show to run as a companion series to the network’s upcoming “Dietland.”
“Unapologetic” joins series such as AMC’s “Talking Dead” and “Talking Saul” as talk shows connected to some of the network’s dramas. But unlike those shows, “Unapologetic” plans to explore topics and issues beyond just “Dietland.” Per AMC, “‘Unapologetic’ will feature Tyler leading a topical discussion around the broader, female-centric issues and themes that ‘Dietland’ explores. Tyler will be talking with celebrity fans, series actors and producers, as well as relevant journalists, writers, comedians and other tastemakers.”
It’s a return to the talk form for Tyler, who spent six seasons on...

AMC and Chris Hardwick are expanding their line-up of live after shows yet again. First came The Talking Dead, then Talking Saul, and now? Talking Preacher. Talk shows and Twitter have replaced the water cooler in the time of Peak TV™. But not all after shows are created equal. Unlike The Talking Dead, which aired immediately after each episode of The Walking Dead, sister-show Talking Preacher will only air twice. Once after the 90-minute season premiere of Preacher and once after the finale episode. Hosted by Chris Hardwick, each hour-long episode will feature series creators, cast, producers, and celebrity fans to discuss and analyze the granular details of the show. From the press release: “It’s very clear that Chris Hardwick knows how to lead and navigate a conversation about hordes of zombies on ‘Talking Dead’ and shifty lawyers on ‘Talking Saul,’ so we can’t wait to see how...

Chris Hardwick is certainly keeping his "Talking" seat warm.
The host of "The Walking Dead" and "Fear the Walking Dead" after-show "Talking Dead," and "Better Call Saul" after-show "Talking Saul," and "Breaking Bad" after-show "Talking Bad," will soon lead another live post-show discussion, this time for AMC's new comic book adaptation, "Preacher." However, as for "Saul," it's just for two very special episodes.
"Preacher" premieres with a 90-minute episode this Sunday, May 22 at 10 p.m. Et, after the midseason finale of "Fear." The new after-show "Talking Preacher" will debut Memorial Day weekend, on Sunday, May 29 at 10:30 p.m., following an encore airing of the "Preacher" pilot episode. Series star Dominic Cooper and executive producers Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, and Sam Catlin will be the "Talking Preacher" guests.
New episodes of "Preacher" will resume Sunday, June 5 at its regular time of 9 p.m. Et. The second installment of "Talking...

A review of the Better Call Saul season finale coming up just as soon as I'm doing something un-hospital-y... "Well, you finally got me where you want me." -Chuck Over the course of its first two seasons, Better Call Saul has essentially been two shows squeezed into one. The stories of Jimmy and Mike are joined in their accounting of how each man is traveling down a slippery moral slope that will eventually put them in business with each other and Walter White, but they're often so separate in tone and supporting cast that it's a small miracle Gilligan and Gould are able to make it all feel coherent. Rarely, though, has the contrast between the show's two halves looked starker than it does throughout "Klick," where Mike is deep in Breaking Bad country — to the point where his story for the season doesn't have a proper payoff unless you...
