"Ares III: Farewell" is a 3.5-minute live action short film and actually a little documentary spoof closely related to the Oscar-nominated film "The Martian". Here Matt Damon's main character introduces us to the crew that are about to go on the journey to Mars. The genre description here on IMDb says adventure/SciFi, but while this is true, especially the latter, I personally would really categorize this as a comedy movie as the crew are cracking one joke after the other during their introductions. I still haven't seen "The Martian" and I cannot deny this really short little movie gets me curious about it. Oh yeah, also quite a few big names in here for such a short film. Impressive. But not as impressive as Kate Mara's looks in a space suit. Overall, a pretty enjoyable watch and almost a must-see for everybody who enjoyed "The Martian". I give these 200 seconds a definite thumbs-up.
