only two to go...

Yeah, I know it's old news. But I've been watching week after week on DVD quite some time after the show ended, and there are seven seasons to wade through, so... Well, finally, here I am... The PLL fan who put up most of the Quotes, the PLL fan who is a staunch critic of the whole concept which was drawn out to last years and years... I've made snide comments about two of the lead actresses. One I've called a tricked-out pony, and for the other one the pregnancy storyline came too late. I'm amazed at the wonderful casting of Troian Bellisario and Ashley Benson that could nevertheless alas come up with clunkers like the casting of Toby and Ezra. One has no personality and the other acts like a nervous farm boy that got lucky that first day in the casting studio. Toby is especially dull in this episode. Spencer can run circles around him. He's duller than ditchwater. Ezra might be popular with many ladies, but the most boring couple on TV Is Aria and Ezra. A fly on the wall of their honeymoon suite would not only fall asleep but commit suicide to escape droning boredom.

As for the whole thing:

The basic premise of A is ludicrous. Hoodie-wearing villain in summertime would stand out like sore thumb. And now for the biggie: it would take the supernatural to pull off these stunts. Big objects like electronic game boards and corpses got moved willy-nilly... SO be very careful with whom is gonna be revealed.

Up next are predictions. I haven't checked up ahead. My only solid insight is the existence of the show THE PERFECTIONiSTS which features both Alison and Mona. So that told me a lot.

Spoilers? No. Observations only. But don't read further if you don't want to be influenced because I MAY be right.

Noticed that everybody makes a return in final season. Noticeably absent are Aria's parents (more boring boring boring people) and wait for it... Spencer's older sister... Melissa. She'd have made a wonderful reveal. The forgotten character...

Ali got knocked over. About to lose the baby? Though there is no reference to this anymore, it's what I instantly expected.

The body in the trunk is Noel Kahn. Archer Dunhill is still alive. The girls saw masked faces. Masked corpses. Whatever.

Another A.D. is Addison Derringer, the antagonistic girl who's worked with computers since she was two. Seen in one previous episode. I maintain that the character Marco seemed to be coming from a sketchily-disclosed background. He could return next episode. Mona is as always a red herring. I am not going to be fooled there.

I am only sure of one thing though. The name Addison Derringer wasn't chosen without good reason.

Signing off as, well, mostly in the dark, a fan of oh wow oh wow oh wow Troian. Spencer, huggable Spencer.

P.S. As that Quote-giver who also does the same for many other shows, Hanna is my all-time favorite. Her lines made me want to, want want want to post that before anybody else.
