Vernal Equinox (1968)

** 1/2 (out of 4)

This here was the first film from director Robert Allen Schnitzer who is best known for his 1976 film THE PREMONITION. This student film has a man and woman meeting in New York City and for thirty-minutes we see them wonder around.

I wish I could give you more of a plot description but this here is about the best that you're going to get. The film is one of those student pictures that's pretty much plot less, although I'm sure a stoned mind could pick out some sort of story in their head. There's really not much of a plot as far as I could see but the important thing is that the picture held my attention for its thirty-minute running time. I thought the leads were quite charming in their parts and for the most part I thought the tour of the city was quite fun to watch. There's obviously nothing ground-breaking here but it was an entertaining student film.
