Rita Ora is a heartbroken bride in the video for her new single “You Only Love Me,” but that doesn’t mean that she’s not one happy married lady in real life. On Friday, as she celebrated the release of her new single, Ora confirmed that she tied the knot with movie director Taika Waititi.
“Yes. Here we are,” Ora told the host of Heart Radio Breakfast, per People. “They say everything happens for a reason. I am officially off the market, people!”

Pamela Adlon cannot turn off her mothering instinct, nor the need to make others feel at home around her. This was in evidence last week in North Hollywood when the Fyc panel for “Better Things” took place on a stage dressed to look like an everyday living room. The setting also felt like a safe space for women since every person on the stage was female, from Adlon and moderator Debra Birnbaum of Variety, to the cast playing Adlon’s on-screen family: Celia Imrie, Mikey Madison, Hannah Alligood, and Olivia Edward.
The pro-woman message wasn’t overt, but it was nevertheless important in the wake of the sexual harassment revelations from last year involving Adlon’s mentor, writing partner and good friend Louis C.K. His name wasn’t mentioned during the panel at all, and instead the mood was one of loving support and celebration for what the cast and...

“Phantom Thread” is expected to be the last film in Daniel Day-Lewis’s illustrious career as he has announced his plan to retire from acting. Could the Englishman get a farewell hug at the BAFTA Awards? Should he win Best Actor he would walk away from the industry tying the all-time record for most wins.
Up until 1967 the BAFTA Film Awards actually handed out two acting trophies per category: one to a British performer and the other to a foreigner. The current record is five wins and is held by a trio of acclaimed Brits: Maggie Smith, Peter Finch and Judi Dench — Dench technically has six competitive wins if you count the now-defunct category of Most Promising Newcomer, which she won for “Four in the Morning” (1965).
Finch won both the BAFTA and Oscar together just once: Best Actor for “Network” (1976); unfortunately, both of those victories were posthumous as he passed...

There has been a lot of talk about the adaptation of Vince Flynn’s American Assassin, much of it obviously because the Mitch Rapp franchise of books has done exceedingly well, but also because the casting news has made people wonder.
Fans of the series have wondered about Maze Runner star, Dylan O’Brien filling the role, but were apparently just as quick to hold out hope with Michael Keaton on board.
CBS Films and Lionsgate have now announced two more actors, and their roles, which rounds out the main players in the film.
Sanaa Lathan will play Irene Kennedy, the CIA Deputy Director who puts Rapp and his mentor, Stan Hurley (Keaton), on the case in question, and Shiva Negar is the Turkish agent who puts them onto the mysterious operative (Taylor Kitsch) who is apparently behind trying to kick off a war in the Middle East.
