The whole family has awakened thanks to Hayley and are on their way to New Orleans to rescue Klaus who is torturously imprisoned by Marcel. It's been five years of the Mikaelsons' absence. Joshua has a new human boyfriend. Klaus conjures Cami to speak to him in the circle he is imprisoned in with Papa Tunde's blade in him. He has to admit to his greatest fear to remove it. It is also very painful to physically remove it. Rebekah goes to meet Marcel in the graveyard as a way to distract while the family goes through the tunnels to Klaus. Kol stays behind in the bar to watch Joshua and think of Davina. A beautiful woman, rep of the Strix, shoots Rebekah down with arrows. Kol comes to save her and Marcel goes to stop the family from rescuing Klaus. Freya channels Hayley to break the spell and Klaus manages to pull the blade out to escape in time. Marcel agrees to let them all go as long as they never come back. They go to a beautiful big home where Hope is residing in. Haley shows Klaus to a sleeping Hope. His paternal cute smile is everything.
