Alifa - A Saga of Everyday Life
asifs-3513513 May 2017
Alifa is a saga of struggle, hope, human frailty and despair, bold yet beautiful. It explores the plight of migrant workers in today's urban setting, where humanity remains a question and every moment witnesses the emerging of a new challenge.

Alifa is the directorial debut of young filmmaker Deep Choudhury and producer Arman Ahmed. It is a pioneering work in terms of looking at the immigrant issue with a humanistic approach in the cinematic process of story- telling.

The audience will go through a roller coaster of an emotional journey, and shall be left with a question mark as to what they have done for these productive migrants, or what they should do?

For those people who have already seen the film, it brings the most burning issue of illegal immigrants, and reminds us that the approach has to change if a solution has to be found, which involves the good of all and makes us act like humans.
