Moshe continues acting as tour guide for the family through Israel. Sarah and Len request a short detour to Tapuz to drop off a gift for Lila's mother, Hadar, the stop which is supposed to be no more than five minutes. Sarah and Len had no idea that Tapuz is an Israeli settlement in the West Bank, while the family has no idea who Lila is in Sarah and Len's life. These two items cause some issues especially between Sarah/Len, Josh and Ali, the latter who is still affected by her time in Ramallah. The issue with Ali in Tupuz leads to a question by Maura, and leads to Ali deciding to head back on her own to Ramallah where she feels some comfort with Lyfe and her Palestinian friends. In turn, Ali's encounter with Lyfe this time around builds upon Ali's earlier talk with Maura. Without Ali, the family continues to their stop for the evening, a "traditional" Bedouin village, or so it likes to market itself.
