This was Rose Leslie's best performance to date. She managed to do what Julianna Margulies did on the original show and deliver a powerful, diverse emotional performance across multiple settings. We saw Maia's struggles with her father both in loving him and wanting him to be okay, but also knowing that he has created so many problems in her life.
The voting and that whole fiasco at the firm felt rushed. This should have been spread out over a couple episodes, but instead they rushed in a character to undermine Boseman and it did not fully click.
