A beautiful hommage to Haida civilisation.

It is the fair definition of this profound lovely short animation. A fishing vessel. His owner prepairing the tea. And he has a big, magnificent surprise, discovering a magnificent story of love presented, in unconventional manner, by a tinny character . The story itself is familiar for many cultures. In this case, the difference is result of special, very special storytelling. And for a profound inspired animation. In short, just impressive and profound lovely short film , reminding me The Neverending Story by Michael Ende and the savory of old fashion, classic fairy tales.

A horribly Underrated gem

A sweet, beautiful and artistic Disneyesque take on Indigenous mythology. I have no idea how much of it, if any, is based on a real legend, but it's a loving a respectful tribute the same way something like Moana is to the Pacific Islands.

A longer movie adaptation would be fantastic with a tone and feel somewhere between "Big Fish and Begonia", "Frozen" and the films of Tom Moore.
