Cream of the crop when it comes to the NFL experience
mickeyadamo30 December 2022
Warning: Spoilers
It's always nice to throw one single game on and watch it from beginning to end, but to have EVERY game on and be getting the best plays from each - is a rather genius concept and the way Scott Hanson executes it makes the show a must have tool for any NFL fan.

We play cards every Sunday and only have 1 or 2 TVs, so RedZone takes one and the game of the day takes another (or whatever is being aired). It makes hanging with friends that much more amplified as we are as a group experiencing the most meaningful plays across every game.

I do not think I will ever watch Sunday football without RedZone being part of the experience, it is truly one of the best ways to get your NFL fix.

Highly reccommend!

Really bias!
erindhannan15 October 2023
The RedZone no longer shows the teams ACTUALLY IN the redzone. They have shown every single play call, drive, down, and timeout of the game they feel like showing. Meanwhile, my team and several other games got maybe some 15 second clips or replays of things that already happened! Really? An 80 yard return isn't worth showing? We went an entire quarter without a single screen of a close scoring game. Zero updates. If you're thinking about purchasing..... don't. You're better off just watching the highlights after the game is final. (Unless it's their favorite team too, then you get to watch every play)

Would be perfect -- if only they changed the theme music
theking-993253 December 2023
The theme music is atrocious. Just use -- or create -- something like the melodic theme music from the old NFL films rather than the cacophonous mechanistic din they use. I have to mute it every time they play the metal death rage music.

There's a researcher at MIT who used science to construct the ugliest (that is, anti-melodic) piece of music ever composed. It seems like the Red Zone channel should consider submitting their music to MIT to see if it qualifies.

You know, the old NFL films really were on to something and there's a reason that we still listen to that music fifty years later. No one will listen to the music on Red Zone. That's worth pondering.
