"George Michael: Freedom! '90" is a music video for the George Michael song Freedom that runs for slightly under 7 minutes and if you look at the names of director David Fincher and also see all these super models who appeared in here, you can see how huge of a star George Michael was back then already. This is from 1990, so already over 25 years old and G.M. was still in his 20s back then. I must say that after some initial doubts I ended up liking this one too. Sure the music video is maybe a bit style over substance, but Michael shines with his voice as always when he is allowed to do so. The chorus is the absolute highlight here, extremely catchy and fun to listen to and it makes up for some mediocrities at times. This one here is another piece of evidences of George Michaels's greatness, even if it is probably not in my top3 of his works. Rest in piece champ, thank you for the music.
