Here we have the six-minute music video for the song "Bad Girl" by Madonna from 1993, so this one will have its 25th anniversary next year already, which means Madonna was in her mid-30s when she made it. There are so many stars attached to this project, not just director David Fincher, but also the cast is packed with Oscar winners, Oscar nominees, Emmy nominees etc. and as the cast list is not too long that means it is quite exclusive. But maybe this is also the main reason why it fails eventually. This could have been a solid premise for a Fincher full feature film, but everything they are achieving in so little time here, it just isn't working out I must say. The song is okay, not one of Madonna's worst or best, somewhere in the middle. Overall, the visual side and the unsuccessful attempt of rushing something in here that maybe would have fit into 30 minutes are the main reasons why I give this one a thumbs-down. Not recommended.
