The funny thing about bad reviews for stand-up comedy shows is that they always complain about the use of politics. Let's just say the 'right' has no sense of humor at all or has just a very low tolerance for irony, it's always them complaining, I never saw it the other way round. First of all comedy should be about anything and everything, you have to be able to laugh about anything, because it's just a joke, it isn't real. Second of all Al Madrigal's show wasn't very political at all so disliking his show with these poor arguments is pretty sorry. That you don't find it funny is one thing, but here that political argument just doesn't make any sense at all. Anyway, this was my first and certainly not last show from Al Madrigal. He's a good storyteller, easy to listen to, nice vocabulary and a good stage presence, but most importantly good jokes and anecdotes. I just watch a stand-up comedy to laugh a bit, have a bit of fun, and that's exactly what I got with this show, some good laughter and easy entertainment. Note to myself for the next time I get really mad: just go buy some shrimps.
