So glad its back! Great start to 2018

Nothing made me happier than hearing this great show with so much potential was renewed and resurrected. Season 2 does not disappoint and continues the interesting story with problems and more questions than answers.

The conspiracy and antagonist that is Rittenhouse is executed well as it shows they are scattered throughout history. It was great seeing the team reunite and a great end to see an old foe again. Was he right about his mission all along? To top it off a great time period to travel back in, World War 1 and see how far and wide this show takes us through great time periods. From the first episode I was hooked and saw enormous potential. I am very glad Timeless are making the most of their second chance in what is shaping up to be a great season.

Finally living up to potential.

Finally. I so wanted to like "Timeless" in Season 1. I just didn't. Showrunner, Eric Kripke, walks on water given the first 5 seasons he contributed to my all-time favorite show "Supernatural." So I gave "Timeless" one more shot with the Season 2 premier. Wow! Wyatt and Rufus racing back to World War 1 battlefront to find (and save) Lucy really changed the game for me. Lucy secretly trying to destroy Rittenhouse by plotting to destroy their time machine. Lucy facing the sad, terrible truth about who and what her Mom is. And that "almost" kiss.... I'm on board!

Great start, just one really stupid scene.

Great start for the show, i especially liked how committed Lucy were to destroy Rittenhouse. I was sure that she would not shoot the innocent man and there would have been some cliche "i cannot do it"-moment, but no! Awesome and bold move from the writers, hats off for that.

But then the writers totally dropped the ball at the end. Wyatt surprised Lucy and Rittenhouse members from behind and let the situation to escalate to typical "Mexican Standoff". That made no sense at all and as result the "Important Rittenhouse"-member and the timemachine is AGAIN in the hands of bad guys!

Whole situation could have been solved by Wyatt with shooting all Rittenhouse members down from behind. Sure, the whole series would have been over and Rittenhouse would have been gone, but writers could have come up with better solution. For example Wyatt and Rufus could have been first at timemachine so Rittenhouse would have surprised them.

The creative team behind Timeless delivered an amazing story and the Time Team delivered with tremendous performances. As always, I learned more about Marie and Irene Curie in this episode. If you're a fan of history, action, and time travel, check out this fabulous show!

I watched last season and was thrilled when they decided to un-cancel this amazing show. This episode did not disappoint.

The show is back! And it's back with a bang

I am so happy that this show was renewed because there were so many stories left and the characters were so damn loveable and I had so many questions from S1 and I needed more

The opening hooked me back in right away, just like the pilot I was like whoa, here we go and this is going to be amazing and it was. The first episode is set in World War 1 and our trio Lucy, Wyatt and Rufus are separated and Wyatt is hell bent to find her and bring her back against the others thinking she's dead or turned to Rittenhouse and the characters we met in World War 1, is just surprising and twisting

By the end of the episode you are left wanting more and ready for the next episode and all I can say is Timeless is back and I'm ready for more

Appalling!!

Warning: Spoilers
Am I the only fan of this show (actually, now, former fan) who is outraged? Lucy murders a wounded American soldier while he begged for his life so as to not blow her cover with Emma. I watched in horror while she blew away an innocent kid AS HE PLEADED WITH HER! Was her cover worth his life? Would she have murdered Wyatt if needed to protect her cover? Rufus? Apparently her cover was not worth the life of the Curies for whom she was even willing to sacrifice her own life. And her excuse that Emma would have shot him anyway is disgusting - why not use the rifle to shoot Emma? And then why did Emma not shoot the Curies? They actually saw the time ship! And why was this kid a threat to them in the first place? Just because he saw some medical equipment he did not understand? And even if he concluded they were time travelers (which he certainly would not), who would believe him? Marie Curie would have been a far more credible witness. And whom could he tell anyway? He was wounded and not going anywhere. Do you mean to tell me that Lucy could not make that argument without revealing that she was not on board with Rittenhouse? Do you have to make your bones like in the Mafia to be in Rittenhouse? Kill the kid and not the Curies (a far bigger threat) is a contradiction born of writing so abysmal that this is the last episode I will stomach, not to mention that it is no longer possible to root for the cold blooded killer who is supposed to be our heroine. One star because zero was not an option.

Great show. Weak episode.

Loved this show for a while but found I wasn't remotely engaged in this episode and I don't know why. Perhaps I need to watch the last episode again of season one, but it feels like they are spinning their wheels. I find I'm not caring as much. The eps opens with a bang. Then we're in 1918. We don't care really. JUst more random running around. And someone uttering "Rittenhouse."
