They drive through time and space to Brian's home. They witness a face time chat with his dad and discover his mother is in the hospital. Brian sends all his money to his parents to keep them going. Chance never listened when Brian told her his family situation. Brian ends the call to rush off and cater to Chance's needs. The ghost tells Chance "you suck". Next, the pair are off to Christmas Eve at Chance's parent's home. Those gathered are playing a charades type of game. Monica acts out the word "spoiled" when Chance's name is guessed. Monica says the guess is close enough. Bruce is deeply disappointed that his daughter Chance did not come home for Christmas. Chance still feels she does not owe anything to anyone. The doorbell rings. Brian has sent the family a Christmas gift for Chance, trying to smooth things over from her. Suddenly Chance and the ghost are in the back seat of Jason's car. They observe Jason picking up another new want to be pop star after complaining to his driver that Chance is nothing without him. He uses the same flattering lines on the new girl as he had done with Chance. Chance is furious.
