Predictable,cheesy

From the moment you found out who was the villain behind the recent attacks on the leaf village, you already knew what was going to happen ; Boruto would convince her to join the good side and they'll all be a happy family

This episode was ruined for me because it had nothing to spice it up , they try really hard to make Boruto like Naruto with how he becomes friends with all the bad guys and gives cheesy speeches about friendship, but Boruto just can't pull it off.

This episode wouldve been 5x better if there was something unpredictable or surprising about it. But unfortunately, for me and many others, I could tell exactly how it would go down since 3 eps ago. The writers need to seriously put in more effort and not just come up with a formula of '' Villain is revealed --- People try to kill Villain --- Boruto Convinces them to stop --- Villain tries to kill Boruto but Boruto still defends villain --- Villain becomes friend of Boruto''

That formula was repetitive enough in Naruto, the last thing we didn't is a half-assed version of it

What a terrible sequel to the Naruto anime. It's as if the anime is now targeted at 5 year olds. The manga is interesting so it may be salvaged if/when they adapt that story.

In the meanwhile, we have to suffer through entire arcs based on geese with curse marks and cheesy Hollywood-type resolutions to every challenge.
