Bonkers, zany, until the hard hitting ending.
Sleepin_Dragon14 October 2018
This show continues to surprise and amaze me, I'm so glad to see the energy has carried on the whole way through, it carried on all through this episode, it was smart, slick, and at times very funny. There was of course a real change of pace at the end, a bold move, but one that I'm sure will drive the story even further. Production values were terrific once again, it was very slick, sounded fabulous, and moved at a fast pace. I've heaped praise on Jodie Comer so far (naturally,) but this time I have to give equal praise to Sandra Oh, she was just wonderful here.

Exhilarating, bonkers, totally absorbing, this show is a real treat. 9/10

Wow..the music, the directing...

The tension just keeps building, episode after episode. I am glad I decided to give this show a chance. It's definitely an engaging watch! The ending during the club scene was directed quite beautifully!

Challenging my suspension of disbelief...
W011y4m57 June 2019
Warning: Spoilers
3 episodes in to Killing Eve & I'm really not getting the craze around the show; having to disregard SO MUCH logic for it to make sense - mainly because Villanelle is such a rubbish assassin: she leaves fingerprints, DNA, witnesses who can identify her & murder weapons all lying around at the crime scenes she creates... She fires guns at close proximity to her targets - which disperses traceable gunpowder residue in to the air that covers clothes & your body after firing - so tracking & identification is extremely easy with forensics; it's quite ridiculous to expect audiences to believe someone THIS amateur has managed to evade detection or capture after two years of inefficient executions. What's more is in one scene, she sprays a lethal chemical on a woman's wrist to kill her & then touches the victim's wrist afterwards with bare hands - when the toxic substance would still be present on her skin. Is she an actual idiot!? In addition, she blatantly stabs someone repeatedly in the middle of a crowded club - with dancing party-goers surrounding her & even then, somehow manages to get away... With that many witnesses, crowds of people preventing her maneuverability & the chaos it would inevitably cause (immediate heightened security), there's not a chance she'd be able to escape.

Characters doing dumb things to progress story
ajmurmann5 August 2018
Warning: Spoilers
The main character gets a very clear message that she should is being threatened but isn't alert at all although she should know better. Meanwhile another agent does not only the worst and most obvious trailing job is recent movie history but also gets lured into a more than obvious trap. Too bad the writers couldn't accomplish the same outcome in a way that's clever and not demeaning to the characters.

It's really too stupid ...

Warning: Spoilers
This episode was so disappointing that I am not sure I want to continue watching this show. Really the plot is hurting my intelligence. An experienced agent Is following a suspect, a skilled murderer into a nightclub all by himself !!! This is so unprofessional, even childish. Therefore it was very predicable that he will be killed. Really stupid and boring.

Experienced agent, alone, follows experienced assassin...

Really?!

And last episode, Eve should've known Villanelle might be following her.

Plus Villanelle's fascination with Eve isn't really alluded too properly. I mean why her and not any other woman?

Don't I Know You?
Prismark106 October 2018
Eve and Bill go to Berlin. They believe that a Chinese colonel was killed in a clinic known for its kinkiness. Villanelle is the suspect.

Villanelle though is now on to Eve, stealing her suitcase, using her name in a kill. Eve is going to be no match for Villanelle.

Bill on the other picks up her scent and put himself in danger.

The quirkiness continues, it is very watchable even the flirting between Eve and a Chinese official.

The downside is that Bill was never going to be a match for Villanelle and should had stopped following her.

Very exciting until this episode's end

Warning: Spoilers
I got very excited about this show, until this episode unraveled. I just don't get how an experienced agent (or any person for that matter) decides to follow a professional killer all by himself... there is just no good reason. Of course, it's not the character that is dumb, but the script for this episode. I don't like when writters or directors or who ever responsible in that case takes such a weak shortcut to make advance a story in a desired direction. I don't care if it gives you something great in the aftermath, because at that point it just doesn't matter anymore. All faith I put in the story is already destroyed anyway. They could have thunk of a way less obvious way of getting this collegue killed, at least. The cherry on top of it all was of course him talking about his death (predicting) to his baby back in the office before they even get to Berlin. At that moment, I told myself "no way, this ain't that type of a show... they won't do the obvious thing here and get him killed". And then they go and do exactly that and in the most stupid way possible! I don't know, I'm extremely disappointed now. I will try and watch one or two more episodes, but this ship is wrecked...

Biggest U turn I've seen
riceboy824 August 2021
I've never had a show where I go from loving it to hating it within an episode. How can a show with such great character chemistry suddenly become so stupid? Others here are blaming the writers, but I would think the actors themselves should also be blamed for not questioning this while acting.

I'm not sure if I should risk investing my time in continuing watching this. It was that bad.

This show is just too dumb.
eldreddsouza12 May 2021
Only going to finish it cause I started it. Otherwise I have no intention to continue watching this show. Jodie Comer looks good but her actions are plain stupid. Ridiculous plot holes, boring long episodes not leading to anything significant is how I would describe my experience so far with this show. This episode felt like a 3 hour long chore despite being only about 40 mins. Terrible writing. There are 2.5 hrs to 3 hrs long movies that have seemingly passed quicker than these episodes honestly. If season 1 itself (written by PWB apparently) is so bad then I can only imagine how unbearable the following seasons must be. Just completing this season cause I started it. Don't intend on watching any further.
