Did you know
- GoofsAnushka mentions "la Bataille de Tours" (the Battle of Tours), that took place in 732, to Hajar in French. She'd rather say "la Bataille de Poitiers". While in English-speaking countries the event is indeed called the "Battle of Tours", in most languages, including French and Russian, the battle is known as the Battle of Poitiers. The actual battle took place between the two French cities.

What a Delightful Surprise! Highly entertaining.
The royal family and their tragic deaths have always fascinated me. I've read books about them and the terrible situation they lived in. I've never believed that any of the family survived, but the very idea that the line might still exist is a fantasy that I'm willing to be entertained by.
Entertainment exists to entertain the viewer. This show is entertaining. It isn't a documentary claiming to be a revelation of hidden truths.
I found episode 1 (S1) to be a delightful ride into a fantasy that I have always hoped would one day be made - to entertain me. I wasn't looking for facts or a plot that wounded me by tricking me and sliding into another tragic and dark show. I'm sick to death of that sort of thing.
I wanted to be pleasantly surprised, to smile, and to rejoice at the conclusion. I wanted entertainment that didn't depress me and this episode delivered.
If I were looking for elusive truths surrounding the deaths of the family I certainly not watch this show. I would be a fool if I did.
I was entertained. I was delighted. I can't wait to watch the next episode - and be entertained by the fantasy, the creative plot, and characters that will keep my attention and make me root for them.
Are you looking for a wonderfully entertaining fantasy about this mysterious family? Look no further. This is the show to watch. I highly recommend it.
Entertainment. Not documentary.
