The act of violence in Nice that has left the world numb with pain. Tunisian truck driver Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel deliberately drove a 19-tonne lorry into crowds at Bastille Day celebrations along the Nice beachfront, killing 83 people and injuring 188 people, including three Australians. The dead include a number of children who had little warning to escape the carnage. Bouhlel only stopped when gunned down by police.
