One Dark Night: An Interview with Hal Trussell (2017)

*** (out of 4)

This eighteen-minute featurette has cinematographer Hal Trussell talking about his first movie, which was the 1982 ONE DARK NIGHT. He starts off talking about how he got involved in the project and from here he discusses what it was like working on such a low-budget movie. He also gives us a good idea of various decisions that were made on the set including one sequence where the four girls are in the car driving. From here he talks about the post-production as well as a few things that happened that he wasn't happy with in regards to the look of the picture. If you're a fan of ONE DARK NIGHT then you'll certainly enjoy this interview as there are several good stories told and you really do get a nice idea of what it was like on the set and the various decisions that were being made.
