"Iraq Paper Scissors" and it's companion film, "Poster Girl" were originally one film. Producer Mitchell Block felt that they needed to divided into two films, as one of the subjects of "Iraq Paper Scissors", Robynn Murray had a unique story and stood out on its own. The two films were divided and "Poster Girl" was picked up by HBO and nominated for an Academy Award. Director Sara Nesson has expressed regret that "Iraq Paper Scissors" never got the attention it deserved. Sara Nesson is currently combining and adapting both films into a feature narrative screenplay, which she hopes will make it to the silver screen.
