Humanity Needs our Microbes

A call to action. We need to save the diversity of microbes that have lived within our bodies since the beginning of time. While we try to change the message and become better stewards of antibiotics, there are also some inspiring stories of the ways we are learning to use the friendly microbes in our bodies to change our health in ways hitherto undiscovered. Its an inspiring documentary, engaging an well made.

A True Science Cliff-Hanger

An inspiring and fascinating view of the detective work being done by scientists worldwide to save the valuable microbes in our body that keep us safe from disease and heal us. US scientists Martin Blaser and Gloria Dominguez-Bello are unveiling the damage we do through our own over-medication with antibiotics and various medical practices that undermine our well-being. A valuable film about the everchanging human condition and the control we have over factors that are increasing illnesses and their severity. Interesting to see the way different people around the world cope with disease based on their diet, traditions and habits.

Kudos to the doctors and the filmmakers.
