What an epic start to the final season. Completely blown away. Hope the rest of the episodes would carry the same level of intensity.

Damn this episode was excellent. Death to a legendary character was done amazingly. I had goosebumps when bjorn was standing in front of the rus army and when he lifted the sword. Music was excellent. Bjorn will remain forever one of the best characters ever

Firstly this episode was like the old vikings.King Olaf was massively underated his speeches were top notch and he died bravely. Then the farewell of bjorn, I cried. It was befitting of him to end that way, what a way to go.Farewell Bjorn Ironside, son of Ragnar Lothbrok.

THE PERFECT FAREWELL TO BJORN IRONSIDE

This is my first review. I watched so many episodes and series but this episode is heavy.
This is the best episode of vikings after 'All His Angel'. And according to me this is the best and perfect farewell of Bjorn Ironside. The best farewell that any show can give to its character.
Rash once again...

I have to admit the episode was a good one and worth the mid-season wait. It was obvious that Bjorn was going to live following episode 10 and having that confirmed I was looking forward to watching his recovery and the next steps for defending Kattegat. Once those arrows started firing into Bjorn I found myself again wondering why I'm carrying on with vikings. Although the production value and side characters have depth and are interesting, the lead character is what makes it. First Ragnar (still the best character to date) was aged too quickly whilst it took a few more seasons for lagertha to get old. Then he was killed off too early and the show was left wanting of a decent interesting lead. Bjorn went through all the character building and now he has met the same fate too early, especially when we didn't see the trials and tribulations of kingship. Whoever they get in now will struggle to fill that gap and assume the show will be on its way out. All they needed to do was slow down ageing, get more seasons out of each character so the longevity & interest in the show could continue.
I must have watched a different episode...

This was not a good episode, technically and visually it is pretty impressive, but every scene, the dialogues and the plot as a whole are pathetically simple. Yes it is historically inaccurate, I can live with that, but at least I want an intriguing drama - this episode was a huge disappointment. All it needs is a surprising death and people go nuts. Pff...
One of the greatest tv episodes ever

Bjorn send off was amazing. He died like a badass. The whole scene was done brilliantly. I think Bjorn got a better send off than Ragnar. They couldn't have come up with a better way. This episode was Soo good. When Bjorn raised the sword with 3 arrows in the chest I got goosebumps.
GOOD BUT WHY??

I enjoyed the episode really BUT why kill Björn? why not do the same as the real story and let him be a great king that has many children and die of OLD age? i liked it but it didn't satisfy me at all. I hope the ending of the show will be a real satisfaction.

I was so afraid that they going to save Bjorn just for the sake of 10 year old kids who cried and swear that they dont gonna watch the show if Bjorn is gonna die...I hoped they just let him die so they dont destroy all our brainshells(For the love of god there is no way you survive after this wound by Ivar)and instead they denied me with the best way...They give a 8 year character the ending he deserves in FULL BADASS VIKING STYLE...Not gonna lie i would want a funeral like Lagertha cause Ragnar didnt had it but that episode was SMOOOOOTH...Farewell Bjorn Ironside King Of All Norway...Thank you Alexander Ludwig for hyping me up for more than half a decade
Off to a strong start I gotta say !
