I was interested in this short because it had Lauren McQueen in it. Shadows was only eight minutes long so there was a limit with the amount of story it tell and it was more about the twist. Shadows did serve as a good calling card for its director and crew because of the production values of the costumes, the cinematography, and the art direction.
