Nice show, gorgeous presenter

This is a great show, for the content and to daydream over the gorgeous Sara..... Watched all of season 1, skipped most of season 2 because Sara was absent, as was Kir, perhaps due to not coughing up a pay rise, then back for season 3, which I've just started watching. Perhaps the ratings went down and they had to cough up lol.....

FANTASTIC concept!

We've watched this show and it's reruns for years and still love watching it. The quirky competitive nature of the show makes it a smash hit.

Something that is very much a requirement for a show like this is that the hosts need to have chemistry and the participants need to have a great sense of humor. The show excels in both these areas.

Kerr and Sarah, and later Kerr and Kirsty, just know how to banter without being annoying to the audience or to each other, in fact, you feel rather in on it and you feel yourself routing for either coast or country. Kerr being my fav presenter on the show, means I always scream Coast! Doesn't hurt that I love the coast anyway, LOL.

Drummond steals the show

On my gap year in New Zealand and coast Vs country is on at 2pm every day. It the best hour every day. Drummond and Damergi's chemistry is undeniable, I hope he is boning her off camera.

Interesting but not new

Warning: Spoilers
British television has produced some great shows involving the search for and buying of real estate. This is another one of those shows. The only difference being the clients are choosing whether to buy a house in the country or by the coast. The presenters are great and interesting but the shows format is nothing new.

Bizarre and inaccurate descriptions!
yarmouth-1406318 March 2022
Having grown up and lived on the island for decades, with my children born here, I consider myself a local.

I was therefore bemused when the episode on the Isle of Wight informed viewers that locals call the island "Mini England" or something like that. Nobody refers to the Island like that and I have never heard that said - ever!

The presenter then described Gurnard as a small fishing village! There are no fishing boats in Gurnard, no harbour, no fishermen and nobody there has anything to do with fishing. There are no shops let alone any fishmongers etc... Other than having a beach there is literally no connection between Gurnard and fishing and it is certainly not a 'fishing village' in any way shape or form.

What a lot of nonesense!
