Anil Kapoor Has Walked Out Of Housefull 5! (Photo Credit – Instagram)
It was hysteria when it was announced that Akshay Kumar was coming back with a barrage of actors in Housefull 5. The film included Welcome duo Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor in its cast. Meanwhile, recently, even Abhishek Bachchan joined the cast. But now, as per reports, Anil Kapoor has walked out of the film.
Anil Kapoor’s Walk Out From Housefull 5
These speculations further say that the Fighter actor’s paycheck demand was something that producer Sajid Nadiadwala was not willing to accommodate, and this finally led to the superstar’s ouster from the film.
Anil Kapoor has been on a roll since the last year. The actor was a part of one of the biggest blockbusters of the last year – Animal, where he played Ranbir Kapoor’s father. He was also seen in Fighter with a great character arc.

Exclusive: Mma Champion and The A-Team star Quinton “Rampage” Jackson has joined forces with multi-hyphenate Joel Silverman to launch Rampage ‘n J Productions, a new production company that will focus on Silverman’s specialty — biopics, book-to-screen adaptations, and TV dramas, particularly in the area of crime.
Based in West Los Angeles, the company will also focus on launching Jackson’s action comedy film and TV career. Heading development for Rampage ‘n J is VP Kylie Lewis, a former creative exec at DC. During her time there, the USC film school alum worked on the John Cena series Peacemaker and upcoming The Penguin with Colin Farrell for Max.
Silverman explained that he first approached Jackson back in 2018 with the idea of doing an antibullying show for kids called Rampage to the Rescue, in which Jackson and a child psychologist travel to and remedy bullying situations throughout the U.S.

Like Hideo Kojima and his collection of scanned celebrities, Taylor Sheridan is adding another star to his Paramount+ collection as Boss Level and The Purge franchise badass Frank Grillo joins the cast of Tulsa King: Season 2. The MCU alum boards the Sylvester Stallone-led crime drama as a series regular, playing Bill Bevilaqua, a Kansas City mobster interested in Tulsa. Is Grillo’s character trying to muscle in on The General’s territory? Who will tell him how much of a bad idea that would be?
Sylvester Stallone stars in Tulsa King as Dwight “The General” Manfredi, a New York mafia capo. After he’s released from prison, his boss unceremoniously exiles him to set up shop in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Realizing that his mob family may not have his best interests in mind, Dwight slowly builds a crew from a group of unlikely characters to help him establish a...

Annabelle Wallis – whose credits include Annabelle, Malignant, and The Mummy – has signed on to star in the sci-fi thriller Mercy alongside previously announced cast members Chris Pratt and Rebecca Ferguson, Variety reports. Details on the role Wallis will be playing have not been revealed, and the same can be said about Ferguson’s character.
Mercy reunites Pratt with his Wanted director Timur Bekmambetov to tell a story that is “set in the near future when capital crime has increased” and follows “a detective (Pratt] who is accused of a violent crime and forced to prove his innocence.” The screenplay was written by Marco Van Belle (Arthur & Merlin).
Coming our way from Amazon MGM Studios, the film is expected to go into production this spring and is already scheduled to receive a worldwide theatrical release on August 15, 2025.

Frank Grillo knows what he wants.
The erstwhile Crossbones of the MCU has crafted a niche for himself as a contemporary Charles Bronson over the last decade, parlaying mainstream buzz from projects like “The Purge 2” and Mma drama series “Warrior” into a string of superior indie action movies — even if he himself shies away from Bronson comparisons when speaking about his career.
“Not that I’m comparing myself to Charles Bronson, because I couldn’t,” Grillo told IndieWire during a recent interview over Zoom, adding with a laugh, “Charles Bronson never took his shirt off on a soap opera.”
With respect to Grillo, Bronson simply didn’t have the same range. Grillo emerged from a three-year run on “Guiding Light” in the late ’90s to a decade as a working actor before landing a juicy supporting role in the Liam Neeson-starring “The Grey.” Then came 2014 and his role...

Skeletons in the Closet is the latest film from director Asif Akbar. Even that wasn’t enough preparation for what I was about to endure.

The 2024 Hobart International is only a Wta 250 tournament, but the draw promises a lot of exciting action regardless.
Held from January 8th to 13th, ahead of the season's first Grand Slam tournament in Melbourne, the Hobart International serves as a great opportunity for players to prepare themselves for the first major of the year.
Many took this chance, and while the majority of the higher-ranked players entered the 2024 Adelaide International draw, there are still many who want to play a Wta 250 tournament, and the leading name in the draw is Elise Mertens, who will be the top seed.
However, the Belgian won't have an easy task at the tournament, as already in her first match, she'll take on the 2022 Australian Open finalist, Danielle Collins, who dropped to the 54th place in the Wta Rankings in recent seasons.

Coco Gauff had a pretty strange year in 2023 as she endured both the lowest point and the highlight of her career.
It was a pretty strange year for the American tennis phenom. On the one hand, she started it with a Wta 250 trophy in Auckland but then had a pretty bad run of results, culminating with an early exit from Wimbledon.
That was one of her worst losses, and she calls it the lowest point of her career. It kind of makes sense because it was the latest in a string of bad results, which made her career look like it was going nowhere.
She didn't know that only two months later, she would become a Grand Slam champion, and that low point might have been the catalyst and the 19-year-old talked about it ahead of her return to the 2024 Asb Classic, where she's set to begin her new season.

Casper Ruud is unperturbed by his title haul, which features 10 titles in his trophy cabinet, all of them coming from Atp 250 level.
Casper Ruud's dominance in that tournament category is evident in the stats. In 13 finals, the 24-year-old has clinched the trophy on ten occasions. In fact, last weekend's defeat to Andrey Rublev in Bastad ended his three-year stranglehold at Atp 250 level, where Ruud had never lost a final since 2020.
But the perceived notion by a section of fans who label Ruud as an Atp 250 specialist is out of tune . The Norwegian has a very impressive resume which includes three Grand Slam runner-up finishes - all coming in the past 12 months, and is firmly entrenched in the world's top five.
The world number four has also reached the final in Miami and at the season-ending championships, each time having the misfortune of running into Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic,...

Case in point, Mercy, which like last year’s Assault on Va-33 puts a hospital under siege. Can the filmmakers deliver an entertaining action film, or is this, like so many other similar films, Doa?
While serving in Afghanistan Dr. Michelle Miller had her husband turn up as a patient in her field hospital, worse he had a bomb strapped to him. Lionsgate has nabbed global distribution for “Flight Risk,” an action-thriller starring Mark Wahlberg and directed by Mel Gibson. This will mark the first film Gibson has directed since his blockbuster ($175 million on a $40 million budget) and Oscar-nominated “Hacksaw Ridge” in 2016. The mini-major will be launching the project, featuring Wahlberg as a pilot transporting a dangerous criminal for trial, at Cannes.
“We love the undeniable electric pairing of Mel Gibson and Mark Wahlberg,” Lionsgate Motion Picture Group chair Joe Drake said. “These world-class talents combining for this dynamic, character-driven film will make ‘Flight Risk’ one of the most suspense-filled, must-see events of the year.”
Wahlberg and Gibson have starred in a few projects together, including “Daddy’s Home 2” and last year’s faith-based “Father Stu.” Considering the number of high-concept or true-story action movies Wahlberg has made with director Peter Berg over the last decade, it is a mild surprise that Gibson will be in charge.

Jan Lennard Struff made history at the 2023 Madrid Open by surpassing long-standing records at Atp Masters 1000 events.
In 2004, Thomas Johansson reached semifinals of the Atp 1000 event in Toronto as a lucky loser and 12 years later, Lucas Pouille did the same thing in Rome. However, no player ever reached the final of an Atp 1000 tournament as a lucky loser, until Jan Lennard Struff.
After having a great week in Monte Carlo, the German lost already in the first round at his home event in Munich and quickly moved to the Spanish capital. Due to insufficient ranking, Struff had to play qualifying, as he only narrowly missed out on the main draw spot, as the first seed in the qualifying.
In the first round, he defeated Italian Luca Nardi, but his final opponent in the qualifying was very dangerous Aslan Karatsev, who reached 14th place in the Atp Rankings in the past.

The UK DVD release of Hellraiser (2022) arrives on March 27, 2023. As always, you’ll be able to watch the disc here in the States but you’ll need a Region Free DVD player first.
David Bruckner (The Night House), who helmed Netflix’s The Ritual as well as sections of Bloody Disgusting’s horror anthologies V/H/S and Southbound, directed the relaunch of the Hellraiser franchise for Spyglass Media,...

The teaser, embedded above, for the Hellraiser reboot gave us a glimpse of Jamie Clayton (Sense8) as Pinhead, and yesterday we got the first actual picture of Clayton’s Pinhead. Fans have been sharing their opinions on this take on the character… but what does the original Pinhead, Doug Bradley, think about Clayton stepping into the role that made him a genre icon? Our friends at Bloody Disgusting shared what Bradley had to say about the casting while he was making an appearance at the Silver Scream Con in Massachusetts:
It seemed like [a female Pinhead] was coming. It’s an interesting piece of casting. I don’t know Jamie. Of course, they’ve taken even a little bit of a wrinkle in that, because Jamie is transgender. I’m not familiar with her recent work, but there was a science fiction series on Netflix several years ago called Sense8, which I was quite a fan of.

Hulu has announced that its reimagining of the 1987 horror classic Hellraiser will debut exclusively on the streamer in the U.S., as part of its annual “Huluween” celebration of fright-filled content, on October 7.
The original film, which introduced horror fans to the iconic monster known as Pinhead, watches as a woman comes upon the newly resurrected, partially formed body of her brother-in-law. She then starts killing for him to revitalize his body, so that he can escape the demonic beings that have been pursuing him after he himself made his way out of their sadistic underworld. Clive Barker directed the pic from his own script, which was itself based on his 1986 novella The Hellbound Heart, with Clare Higgins, Ashley Laurence, Andrew Robinson, Sean Chapman, Robert Hines, Doug Bradley, Nicholas Vince, Simon Bamford, Grace Kirby and Oliver Smith starring.
