My Review Of "The Misplaced"
ASouthernHorrorFan28 March 2019
DiVincenzo's story is a short four minute thriller that packs a lot of energy, and suspense. It is a precise, familiar concept that the director frames clearly, and perfectly. More of a short premise, one begging longer exploration, "The Misplaced" creates a chilling, impactful tale that ends on a creepy note.

The cinematography is brilliant, clean straightforward shots that keep full attention on the subject, while allowing room for shadowy, chilling atmosphere. The second impressive thing about the short film is the masterful, thoughtful way DiVincenzo uses the music score to build, and carry both the thrilling nature of character's experience, and accents the emotional elements that pulls out the suspense. There is a lot of asthetic and experience packed in the film. Definitely check it out!
