The best episode so far.

I am surprised to see that this is the lowest rated episode in the series, for my money this is easily the best episode so far. The previous episode was so flat, with so many seemingly random events happening, at a very slow pace, this in contrast was gritty, engaging, and moves quickly.

Jonah seems to be getting deeper and deeper, I get the feeling he's being set up, and I'm convinced David is undercover. This has some fine moments, Jonah's hotel antics, being the best.

I'm very much into this now. 8/10

Episode 1.4

Arthur Bach, the British Consul has a plan to help Jonah. Go to political hopeful Xiaodong Xo running to be chief executive. His head of PR Rachel Hargreaves knew Megan and promises Jinah she would look into the manner.

Of course Jonah will not get his wife's body back. The police tell him that she has been cremated.

Megan had a secret bank account with lots of money that she has left to her daughter. The thing is how did Megan acquire such a large amount of money along with fake US passports.

Jonah meanwhile suspects David in Megan's death. After all David was involved with the Triad gangs. He is a drunk and a gambler.

The pace picked up slightly and more players were introduced to confuse matters. The pace is still sluggish and the action moved to Macau to give the series a more picture postcard look.

Jonah still acts like a bull in a china shop, he might show signs of cunning but at the end he stumbles into David who is in a precarious position.
