An offer you can't refuse

I'm not a Chris Elliott fan, but it's hard to imagine anyone else playing Roland Schitt.

Death, the Godfather, and Loss
Hitchcoc28 March 2021
There are so many strains running through this piece. First of all, it has been spread on the internet that Moira is dead. Flowers and messages start pouring in. This leads to her pretentious worst as she navigates the adoration. Meanwhile, Roland asks Johnny to be the godfather of his yet unborn child. Of course, it come with all kinds of obligations should Roland or his wife dies. There is a masterful scene where Roland chokes on some chicken skin while stuffing himself at the diner. Finally, David and Alexis go to see a potential cheese distributor. It turns out it is Ted's current serious girlfriend and Alexis is incredibly uncomfortable. It is very touching as she and David drive home.

Warning: Spoilers
It has been reported that Moira Rose is dead but she is alive. Gifts and flowers come through the door.

Roland asks Johnny to be the godfather of his child. He forces it upon Johnny.

Alexis and David go to a goat farm that makes cheese to find a supplier. The woman is in her forties and Ted's girlfriend. The place is quaint and beautiful. The cheeses are laid out with toothpicks.

The woman invites them to stay for lunch and Ted joins them. The silverware she uses is so cute and wooden.

Moira Rose's death becomes overshadowed with the death of a cat that was best friends with a giraffe.
