Interesting and unusual spiritual parable about the never ending battle between good and evil with the title figure helping people gain forgiveness and grow closer to God. Devil-like gang leader opposes his efforts. Strong religious message, some violent moments, many scantily clad attractive women. Set in Los Angeles, this picture also advocates for greater acceptance of Hispanic immigrants.

Music was too much!

Like any indie film, this one had its share of trouble spots.
For the positives: The theme was good and the message was also deserving of a positive mention. The cinematography was decent and the lighting was also well done-props to the gaffers!
I'd like to say the audio was fine but contending with the overpowering "background music" (that was anything BUT in the background) left little opportunity to really listen. The music just drones on and on and on and drowns out most of the dialogue. At time's it seemed like one terribly long montage with the music expected to carry the story.
That all said, I'm giving it a 5 because I think the story has potential and the acting wasn't bad, At all.
