Refreshing
LordofArt19 January 2019
Refreshingly soothing to know that Red is still in charge even from behind bars. And Liz I'm sorry for her and her half-sister. I can't imagine what Red would do to Ms Keen's half-sister because she, in fact, did plant the idea in her head. Dembe is ever loyal - the kind of friends we need in life. That rodent deserves an award. What a means of communication! I pray Samar gets help quick. Instead of 911, she dialled 119. An ailment, any illness, is nothing to be ashamed of but stigma and bias shame us all.

Legendary, Even From a Prison Cell
Anonnamus7 May 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Reddington's reach knows no bounds and I love it. I was genuinely worried for him as life in prison relies as much on physical prowess as well as street smarts. Red may have started out the victim, but damn if he didn't find a way to turn things around for himself and gain the respect of his fellow inmates. Love him.

Liz and the Methhead were at it again, trying to find anything that would keep Red in prison. Well, Methhead was, Liz was suddenly acting like she had no personality of her own and was only there to do the bidding of her "sister." Are they even related? I assumed Red is actually Methhead's real father, while Liz was the daughter of the real RR. Maybe I misunderstood that whole situation. Either way, I am truly flummoxed at how Ian Garvey seems to have been forgotten about this season. He is the one who shoved the knife in Tom and killed him. The innocent man who was murdered because he had something Garvey wanted. Yes, he's dead, but Methhead continues to whine about how he was a good man, a surrogate father because her real father was a terrible man. The guy who abandoned her because he didn't want his family to be hurt because of his life choices. I don't care, I'm still hoping she gets a bullet soon.

Now, let's go with Liz. The girl who has continuously been saved time and time again by the man she thinks is her father. She flat-out murdered the attorney general, who happened to be unarmed, and was pardoned by POTUS, all because of Reddington. Let's repay him by sending him to prison because he kept a secret and your feelings are hurt. I love strong women on television, but Liz and Methhead are unbearable. Perhaps if they showed a bit of humility every once in awhile (and not as a dramatic effect for the benefit of others), they'd be tolerable. Reddington is honestly the only reason I am still watching this show...and it has the potential to be one of the greats but the character of Elizabeth Keen is ruining it for me.

Wishy washy Liz

Warning: Spoilers
Ever since the start of the series, she goes hot and cold with Reddington. I really wish she would make up her mind. She's betrayed him more than once. Fortunately, I enjoy Red and Dembe. But Liz has to s*** or get off the pot!

Ah yes, the sister...
jade-ov-arcc-159-55463623 January 2019
Totally enjoyed this episode, rat and all. But I'm still trying to figure out what the sister's agenda is. Garvey had to have left her with something - he ran a whole syndicate, he would have provided for her in case anything happened to him, for heaven's sake! I don't buy the 'I'm a poor waitress, I have no life' bit and it wouldn't surprise me if Jennifer was involved in his doings in some way. She doesn't seem like the mastermind type, but, hey, you never know... Is Liz so blind that she's not even questioning Jennifer's motives or background? She's FBI - never done a deep background check with all the secrets behind both Red and Garvey? Or is she wiser than she's letting on? It would, however, surprise me if Red really doesn't have at least an inkling of what the two women are up to. With so many questions yet unanswered, I'm very enjoyably staying tuned!

Red in prison
lukebernstein35 February 2019
Another case of me thinking spader wouldn't get as much screen time. Now with him being in prison. But I couldn't have been more wrong. Red has a good amount of stuff to do in prison. I can't say it's as good as the courtroom episode but still a great episode.

Cute But Too Far Over the Edge
Hitchcoc29 November 2022
There are two events again. The Pawnbrokers are a couple of deadly traitors who sell secrets to the highest bidder. We see them at their worst in their relations with the Chinese. The far out story has Red taking over in prison when he is spotted by a guy with whom he has had contact. Red uses a rat to get messages to Dembe (this is beyond reality but it is like some prison comedy from the forties). He develops a relationship with a young man who seems totally out of place in the prison population. Red never does anyone in, but his information and smarts does it for him. I hope the guy with the record player gets it back when Red leaves. Liz's "Sister" has dredged up something else and says it will put the finger on Red. We know she is crooked, right?

What's up with Liz?
jrigler-5214510 February 2019
If Liz really is trying to take Red down, then the entire series should just end. If there is a twist coming, I hope it's not far off. As fun as it is to watch Red in prison harassing everyone, I hate the twist that has Liz and her sister plotting.

Anti-Christian and Anti-Methodist bigotry.
kender-725-3584253 February 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Blacklist Season 6; Episode 4 The Pawnbrokers (No. 146/147 contains an outrageously nasty case of Anti-Christian and especially Anti-Methodist propaganda. Methodists portrayed as murderous greedy criminals? Really now! Tenets of Methodism are explicitly against violence, greed and gambling. All of these are shown in this episode. To push the point the female criminal is wearing a Christian cross necklace. Which writer on the show is the bigot?
