The entire program is suggesting a justification for the murder of the czar and his family. The producers trivialize the difficulties faced. They make it sound like Lenin and the Bolsheviks were a godsend. The only reason I wouldn't give it a one star is because there is good historical footage.

I watched a few minutes and saw this too-cute blondie showing letters between Nicholas and Alexandra. They were written in English! Not translations, but old-fashioned script, as if they were real. Not French, which was most likely; nor Russian. English. At that point I understood that this "documentary" was a farce and switched channels.
