So! I am in love with this game! You CAN buy some things, like suits, diamonds, and other resources, but you can easily obtain diamonds for free, by completing daily quests, you can get around 50 gems, which you can use to obtain the suits, you can earn them by signing in daily, and the gems are usually the second prize, and then there is the daily draw, which is nine gift boxes, and you tap one and it will give you coins, diamonds, stamina, or star coins (which I will explain later). And there is also sharing, which you can earn diamonds from. So I believe that the purchases are optional. You don't have to pay to complete the game. The outfits are gorgeous! There are frequent events that are either free, need diamonds to participate, or you can only participate if you pay. There are different levels of in app purchase rewards. There is V1, V2, V3, and so on. I personally have not payed for anything on this game, neither have my parents payed for anything for me. So I am on level 50, living as a V0. ;)
Many of the really nice suits either cost real money, or diamonds. There is a storyline that comes with the game, which I believe has about 15 chapters. The story is very interesting! No spoilers! (O w <)_/ I have been playing this game since February, and I have never gotten bored of it! This game actually has some Chinese culture in it, so that was a surprise for me. I really like anime, so if you do, this is the game for you!
On to some parental advices.
The outfits have certain tags, which include: Cute, Pure, Lively, Cool, Warm, an the last ones... Mature ... Uhm...? Why did they feel the need to put this in a game which the App Store rates ages 4+? And there is a hair price which is called "S-x City".... Okay...? And one character likes women with a large bust, which is a little uncomfortable for me playing it. And there are associations which have real life people playing in the chat, so some inappropriate things could pop up. ( I am in a association with very kind people so I have not experienced this.) And then there is also the Starry Corridor, which you can style Nikki and post your design with a sentence about your style. As I said, inappropriate things can pop up. You can put Nikki in bikinis, so that is weird, too... But, there are very modest swimsuits, though. There is one very sexual character named Mela who wears inappropriate clothing, along with a bunny costume. (Those swimsuit ones.) and there are some sexual clothes.
Anyways, for the profanity, I think there were a couple "Damn"s. And maybe a "Hell". very mild.
There is some lagging, but very occasionally.
And there are a couple suits that have girls holding beer, and those are the St. Patrick's day suits. I think one character smokes with a pipe.
No violence, really, but there isn't one event that happened in I think August or something that Nikki had a scary dream, (no spoilers) which I guess could scare children. There aren't really any main villains in this game.
I believe that's all? I've been writing this review for about 45 minutes XD...
So this is a very amazing game, although I rated it 9 stars instead of 10 because of the sexual content and the in app purchases.
