The Benihana skit and the election anxiety fake ad were brilliantly funny. The 5 Timer club was cute. The rest was standard issue SNL: not bad, but not necessarily good, either.

Particularly Great

The writers were working extra hard this week, no one took this week off. The Sarah Huckabee skit was the only one that was weak but Jonah Hill was great in every sketch he was in. I've heard a lot about Maggie Rogers and I am sure I will be hearing a lot more of her again. Weekend update was the best.

Particularly Bad

Were the writers on vacation this week? The Sarah Huckabee skit was the only funny one and Jonah Hill was horrible in every sketch he was in. I'd never heard of Maggie Rogers and probably won't ever hear of her again. Even Weekend Update was weak.

Kate Mckinnon was terrible

I lasted up to the five times club, one of the opening jokes that gets repeated so often when the writers are short on material. Kate McKinnon did an opening sketch impersonating Laura Ingram in a slow, deep voice. Apparently she didn't even take the time to listen to Laura or see what she looked like. She seemed to be very drunk, maybe from celebrating her latest flop, The Spy Who Dumped Me. Form your own opinion, but time fillers seemed to be the theme of the week.
