Turin is the city of Augusto Rol: a magical city linked to synchronicity, disappearances and apparitions of all kinds. "Perdo-Nanda" debuts in 2018 at the School of Psychodrama by Marco Greco. Two hours earlier, the 36 TORINO FILM FESTIVAL presented the restored copy of Le Psychodrame (1956) (1956) by Moreno-Rossellini, which had been lost for decades. Seventeen years earlier the Festival presented Rosati's
Generazioni d'amore: Le quattro Americhe di Fernanda Pivano (2001) and in the same edition a fire stopped the "official" movie about Pivano as soon as she set foot in the hall.
The Italian title "Perdo / nanda" contains a play on words untranslatable in English: "perdo" means "to leave, to abandon."
and refers to the nickname of Fernanda Pivano: "Nanda". But the two words together ("perdo + nanda") create "perdonanda", meaning that the Pivano must be forgiven. In the Christian and Buddhist sense.
In March 2016 Arnoldo Mosca Mondadori, who had helped Fernanda Pivano to write the book "I miei Quadrifogli" and was a common friend of Fernanda and Ottavio, made a very noble act. He handed over to Rosati, as if it were an inheritance from Pivano, 8 new unpublished pages by Pivano that looked like an appendix to "I miei Quadrifogli". The pages had a philosophical-moral tone rather than a narrative tone and were named: "La dolcezza", "La Maldicenza", "La Presunzione", "Invidia", "Ingiustizia", "Ipocrisia", "Il Rancore "," La Violenza". The reflection on Dolcezza pushed Rosati to create 'Perdo-Nanda Pivano' with his final based on Love and Reconciliation after catharsis.
As soon as she moved to Milan in 2001 Fernanda had Ottavio deliver the jewels he had designed for her. A ticket announced that in the future he would receive the manuscript of seven new four-leaf clovers: "I wrote them for you by hand as you made these jewels by hand."
