Lots of nudity, but if you can get passed that....

Warning: Spoilers
Be warned, full female nudity. It's brief but noticeable. It's also irrelevant to the plot, that being said it's not uncommon for horror movies to have brief Nudity of women with fake boobs. This has no parental guidelines so I felt it was needed to be told. And you'd think it was excess to write a paragraph about it, but that's how much nudity was in this movie.

-this is where potential spoilers would start-

Otherwise it was rather slow moving. The gore is fairly good. Sure it's a little cheesy in some spots, but over all most of it was good

The plot is followable so they have that going for them. It definitely picks up speed.

After a while. Over all it was not to bad. The ending was a little disappointing, but they did have a twist that was interesting atleast.

I had hoped the creature would be less alien like and more supernatural. The design was not the best for the big creature, but I did like the design and the sfx for the human creatures.

Not bad monster horror if you get passed some bad CGI and stupid dialogue
kastrino28 January 2024
Every second word seems to be an f-bomb in this low budget horror/ sci fi. To be perfectly honest, I chose to watch this because of Mitch Pileggi, Skinner from the ever beloved X-Files. The big man gives a better performance than most of his co stars and he is in the spotlight relatively longer than one could expect. Otherwise, we are talking about monster horror by the numbers, with few (very few) adequate special effects and another few of not-so-good CGI. Some competent monster action towards the finale and a couple of nice plot twists that lead things at this point make the movie pretty watchable for horror fans, even though the dialogue seems to be created on the spot by most actors and is pretty silly most of the time. All in all, an entertaining monster b-movie.
