An emotional tribute!
theanonymousghost16 September 2020
Warning: Spoilers
A touching, and well-written, tribute to the original with an end scene literally 35 years in the making. As a lifelong fan since the original movie was released, Cobra Kai has FAR exceeded my expectations. Well done!

A well written, heartbreaking episode. The show must go on by Queen made the last scene even more emotional.

Wow... this is probably the best episode of the series. Beautiful, action packed, heart wrenching. I was really welling you in that final scene, my favourite Queen song sealed the deal.

Best Episode of Season 2 so far.

In today's word you can find everwhere prequels, sequels about old movies or tv shows. There is a Lethal Weapon, a taken & many other shows who turned their movies in tv shows. The different between these shows and Cobra Kai is that when you watch the new 'Karated Kid' show you really feel that it is made with heart and hughe respect to the old movies. And it doesn't matter if you know the movies or not. This tv show stands as a intelligent and good written series which should get way more attention.

Solemn epsiode

This show continues to impress with quite a heartfelt and special episode. It again serves a good nod to the original movie in 1984 and brings back original cast members. How unique and fitting to bring back one of the original Cobra Kai team mates and friend, Tommy. It makes a show more meaningful and gives more life to it. I was sad to hear that Tommy (Rob Garrison) was really sick and died in 2019. He went out swinging and like a champ. Solid episode.

I don't agree with all of Cobra Kai's methods but I think Johnny is on a real journey of personal growth and trying to be better. Kreese is the real villain and he's taking some of the kids along with him. I love all the throwbacks and staying true to the movies. I had a bad feeling when they started playing "The Show Must Go On" and turned out to be right. I never saw myself crying for a Cobra Kai, but there I was. Best episode yet.

It was such a good episode of season 2 so far. Nice to see old gang in an old style. Still I feel bad about Cobra Kai dojo even I love Daniel-San. How can Johnny finds correct path and when:)

Cobra Kai never grows old!!
Steve_Holt_31 December 2021
It's starting to feel like two different shows; the Johnny Lawrence storyline for grown ups, and the Miyagi Do storyline for little kids. It's tough because I really love the Cobra Kai storylines, but whenever they go to LaRusso and his school it gets hard to sit through because there's no way I can root for them, and the show seems to be trying some really corny kiddie type ways to get me to do just that.

This was an over all really good episode, and I boosted it one star for the Cobra Kai/Tommy storyline. I think it's so awesome that they did this while they still could, and even though it was a little cheesy it was a lot awesome. The bar scene was so fun, and I'm so glad the show leans into these kind of moments. Cobra Kai never dies!

Emotional ride!

This was an emotional and great episode that centers on Johnny as he hooks up with his old gang from the movie!

This episode however surprised me with just how far this show is willing to go! It was a very deep and emotional experience that shows how friendships can last a long time even if you don't see each other! Introducing death also added an extra layer to this show!

The soundtrack was perfect as well and gave me chills by the end! Overall it was perfect!

Kreese also shows that he is rhe antagonist of the season as he tries to undermine Johnny!

This was a great episode that had me in tears!

Well, this is rather tasteless
whatch-1793125 December 2020
Yes, "get him a body bag! Yeaahhh!" was quite a memorable moment from the original, but Rob Garrison was quite visibly sick when this was filmed. He died later in the year.

It's great that the actor had another moment on the limelight, but sheesh.

Dimitri's character arc is rather fascinating. And the episode yet again faithfully and seemingly effortlessly its past, in this case, Karate Kid 3. Terrible movie, but nicely handled. I'm hoping to see Terry Silver and Mike Barnes! As bad as the script may have been, both of those characters were played very well by the actors.

I can't quite say Barnes was Daniel's greatest enemy- Chozen literally tried to kill him- but he was certainly a very powerful villain.

The episode is quite chilling otherwise- there are grudgingly good moments, but the storm clouds are setting in.

Age hits us all!
mm-394 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Age hits us all! Johnny hits it out with the old Kobra Kia and talk about what they thought Kobra should be and what it is. Krease pulls a surprise. We see the rival of the two Dojos and philosophies. LaRusso brings in new recruits and we see a conflict on the arise. Worth watching 7 stars.

Cobra Kai never dies

A poignant storyline bringing back Johnny's old pals. Kreese is a problem. LaRusso breaks in the new recruits. Decent acting, well developed storyline.
