- A con woman from Faye's past reappears, offering Faye's real identity in exchange for passage to Santo City in a hurry. Julia considers her options.
- Spike is having migraine after his encounter with Londes.
Whitney pays Faye a visit and offers her a job in Santo City in exchange for her identikit. Posing as Faye's mother, she convinces Jet to launch the Bebop for the job in exchange for her pepper dumpling recipe that Jet believes Kimmie will love. She also cures Spike's migraine.
Julia confronts Ana that she knew that Fearless was alive, and yet she did not say anything to Julia. Ana discourages Julia from going to Fearless as that would mean that they both are hunted by Vicious forever. Julia realizes that for her to reunite with Fearless, Vicious has to be dead.
Jet finds something off in Whitney's demeanor. He feels that she is defensive, and acts cornered. Jet questions Whitney about Faye's childhood. Upon their arrival, Spike and Jet run a facial scan on Whitney and identify her as a wanted con artist. Faye admits that Whitney got her out of Cryo-sleep and pretended to be her mom to scam her out of her settlement money. Faye says that she has Cryo-amnesia, and she does not remember anything that happened before she woke up. She is helping Whitney in exchange for her Identikit, which could reveal to her who she is. They encounter the arms dealer Iron Mink (Tyson Ritter) (A notorious intergalactic arms dealer who is secretly married to Whitney), who threatens them to surrender the Bebop for their lives.
Using the tracking beacon in Whitney's ring, Spike and Jet roam around the city to lure Iron Mink away while Faye and Whitney go retrieve Faye's identikit.
Whitney tells Faye that she was in Cryo-sleep for a long time and yet no one came for her. Her parents are either long dead or they left her for dead. Faye thinks about it, but still wants to discover her past. Upon their arrival at a storage warehouse, Faye discovers her identikit in the form of a VHS tape before she and Whitney are cornered by Iron Mink (Iron Mink had more than one tracker on Whitney and uses it to track her while he sends his goons to deal with Jet and Spike), but Whitney uses a safe word to spare their lives.
As Whitney and Iron Mink kiss, Faye bails out with Whitney's ship in the warehouse. Faye reunites with Jet and Spike at Bebop.
Meanwhile, Vicious lays down his plans with Mao and Santiago to overthrow the Elders from the Syndicate. Vicious offers an extra 2% to both Mao and Santiago for their support against the Elders. The plan is that Mao will give proof to the Elders that Vicious is planning a coup. Santiago will capture Vicious and deliver him to the Elders in irons. Mao will use his Katana to carry out the execution. At that point, Vicious will free himself from the shackles, take the Katana, kill the Kobun and take the Elders heads. Santiago wants 3% and Vicious agrees. Julia later gives Mao a bigger offer to betray Vicious. She offers Mao the entire throne.
Back aboard the Bebop, Jet plays the tape, revealing a home video of young Faye.
