- TriviaFather Brown makes a point about some of the Bible's rules being inapplicable. Specifically he references not weaving two different fabrics together. In the Bible Leviticus 19:19 and Deuteronomy 22:11 God says not to mix linen and wool together. Interestingly, scientists have now proven linen and wool woven together increases passing off body electricity, and in extreme heat can cause fever and blisters.
- GoofsBunty wakes Mrs. McCarthy up at 5:00 AM as they kept watch at Enoch's residence, but there was full sunshine shining through the window on Mrs. McCarthy's face. Since it was established that last week's adventure was on Monday, August 31, 1953, the sun would not be rising until about 6:12 AM or after, so the sun was up too early.

The end
I have loved and watched the Father Brown series for years. I got much enjoyment . It was a nice reprieve from the world. After this episode and a few before, I saw the writing and moral compass had changed. I noticed more graphic violence. Sadly, I unsubscribed to Brit Box and will not watch further. Thank you writers for ruining wholesome entertainment. I am very disappointed in theses last few storylines. Why did the writers have to add controversial content. Evil has to insert itself everywhere. GK Chesterton would be appalled. You need to remove him as writer, because he never would have written content such as this The writers have also disparaged priests.
