“Bridgerton” Season 3 is off to a steamy hot start.
The third season of the Shondaland period drama drew 45.1 million views over its first four days of availability, according to Netflix, easily finishing first on the streamer’s Global Top 10 list. Take that, Tom Brady roast.
It was the biggest week — by quite a bit — for any series on Netflix since the streamer changed its core metric from hours viewed to views in mid-June 2023.
The first four “Bridgerton” Season 3 episodes reached number 1 in 78 countries and the Top 10 in 92, Netflix said. The next four episodes premiere on June 13; try not to obsess over the big cliffhanger between now and then.
The third season of “Bridgerton” also brought the first two back to (some semblance of) their former glory. “Bridgerton” Seasons 1 and 2 both returned to Netflix’s Top 10 TV (in any language) list in the week ahead of Season 3. They did even better during Season 3’s premiere week.

It’s season finale time for networks, but Netflix, naturally, still has plenty of brand new TV and shows coming in May.
Jeff Daniels makes his TV return in the David E. Kelley series “A Man in Full.” That six-episode series is based on the bestselling book of the same name by Tom Wolfe. Per a press release: “When Atlanta real estate mogul Charlie Croker faces sudden bankruptcy, political and business interests collide as Charlie defends his empire from those attempting to capitalize on his fall from grace.” The series will also star Tom Pelphrey, Diane Lane, Lucy Liu, William Jackson Harper, Aml Ameen, Sarah Jones, Jon Michael Hill and Chanté Adams.
Additionally, comedy fans can get excited for a new special series from John Mulaney. The comedian is hosting a multi-night event, “John Mulaney Presents: Everybody’s in LA,” that looks to be part interview show and part man-on-the-street hijinks.

This article contains spoilers for "For All Mankind" season 4.
Apple TV+ has quickly become the home of sci-fi on TV. Between "Monarch: Legacy of Monsters" delivering kaiju action on the small screen, "Foundation" giving us an epic adaptation of Asimov's iconic book series, and "For All Mankind," it's an exciting time to look to the stars.
That last one, in particular, is doing something unique, presenting an uplifting and optimistic show of what humans can achieve when working together to explore outer space. "For All Mankind" began as an alt-history drama about a timeline where the Soviet Union got to the moon before NASA, causing a ripple effect with changes to the culture. Since then, it has become more and more of a proper science fiction show (one with as much love for science and technology as "Dr. Stone").

At last, we've come to the final anime season of 2023. This has been a tremendous year for animation -- one that saw streaming produce some stone-cold masterpieces, some exquisite international collaborations, one of the greatest anime seasons of all time, the end to a cultural phenomenon, and also plenty of fresh discoveries and original stories. After the fall 2022 season saw an astonishing number of certified bangers (including many of that year's best shows), 2023 wasn't too far behind. It was hard to pick just five shows from this season, as there was something for every type of fan. In the end, however, there were five shows that simply stood above the rest.

Their effort to construct it bring the whole team, once more, re-discovering a number of past technologies, in their effort to find where the the still existing Sagara Oil Field lies, where they could grow enough wheat to grow and hunting meat to preserve to last them for the trip, as much as enough trees for their shipbuilding.

The month of April for Hulu is jam-packed with TV and film goodies, from Adam Sandler’s 1999 comedy “Big Daddy” to Fox’s hit sitcom “New Girl.”
On top of Hulu’s rollout of a new interface, it’s also adding some major film and TV titles to its platform. Some of the highlights that set off the first day of April include “American Psycho,” “Shrek” and its sequel “Shrek 2,” plus the Tim Story-directed “Think Like a Man.”
Anime series will be all the rage on Hulu with the dubbed version of the new popular series “Chainsaw Man” arriving, along with “Spy x Family” and “Black Clover.” If you’re looking for something a little bit more kid-friendly, the family can al enjoy “Despicable Me” and “Despicable 2,” “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days” and “Nanny McPhee.” For the lovers and heartless romantics, “Dear John” and “Date Night...

Hulu’s list of new releases for April 2023 don’t feature many blockbusters, but if we dig a little, I’m sure we can find some gems.
Perhaps the most promising items are on the TV side of things. Tiny Beautiful Things premieres on April 7 and stars Kathryn Hahn as “a floundering writer who becomes a revered advice columnist while her own life is falling apart.” That will be followed by comedy Am I Being Unreasonable? on April 11 and two documentaries: high school football story Algiers, America (April 19) and Tupac Shakur piece Dear Mama (April 22).
The best TV candidate this month, however, is probably Saint X on April 26. This series, told via multiple timelines, “explores and upends the girl-gone-missing genre as it explores how a young woman’s mysterious death during an idyllic Caribbean vacation creates a traumatic ripple effect that eventually pulls her surviving sister into a dangerous pursuit of the truth.

One of the most anticipated television releases of April is coming to Hulu on April 7. “Tiny Beautiful Things” stars Kathryn Hahn as troubled writer Clare. Ironically, she becomes a great advice columnist as her life falls apart. Her marriage is in trouble and her teen daughter hates her. Plus, her writing career is going nowhere. Based on the best-selling collection by Cheryl Strayed, the limited series explores the author’s journey toward healing herself and others.
Check out the “Tiny Beautiful Things” trailer:
Also arriving on Hulu in April is the series adaptation of the best-selling novel “Saint X.” The series is based on Alexis Schaitkin’s novel of the same name and follows a woman’s dangerous pursuit of her older sister’s disappearance on an idyllic Caribbean vacation. One of the most interesting (small) changes "The Last of Us" has made to the source material is having Joel be hard of hearing in one ear, compared to the game where he has super hearing like Daredevil. It hasn't been a huge deal in the show, mostly because Joel himself is downplaying and hiding it. But this episode makes it crucial to show that, well, Joel is not a young man. He is 56 years old, he is no superhero, and he doesn't have beskar armor or a darksaber.
The episode picks up three months after the Kansas City incident. After failing to really threaten a cute old couple out in the middle of nowhere for directions, Joel and Ellie start getting close to where Tommy is supposed to be, but they are warned that there is nothing but infected in that direction.

Dr. Stone started out as a manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in March of 2017. It is a bit unusual in that it has a Japanese writer Inagaki Riichiro and a South Korean artist Mu-jik Park, which seems to be a very successful team-up. After all, Dr. Stone has been successful enough to sell more than 10 million copies and counting. Naturally, it has received an animated adaptation. So far, the Dr. Stone has had two seasons. However, it is important to note that a Season 3 has been confirmed for the future as well. Story-wise, Dr. Stone is rather

Based on the manga by writer Riichiro Inagaki and illustrator Boichi, “Dr. Stone” is a title that tries to reinvigorate the shonen genre, by taking a completely different approach to whole concept.
Beginning in April 5738 A.D., it’s been over 3,700 years since a mysterious flash of light petrified nearly all human life. A 16-year-old genius named Senkū Ishigami is suddenly revived to find himself in a world where all traces of human civilization have been eroded by time. Senku sets up a base-camp and begins to study the petrified humans in order to determine the cause of the event, as well as a cure for the rest of the humans that are still in the stone form. Soon, he finds that nitric acid that drips from a cave can be made into a compound that instantly de-petrifies others. He begins by curing his best friend and sidekick Taiju Oki,...

Anime continues to push boundaries not only in animation, but also in terms of what can be accomplished in a television series.
There are now more ways than ever to stream anime. These anime streaming services offer deep libraries that can be overwhelming. There are countless anime landmark shows worth your time, but here’s a list of some of the most impressive new anime series to come out in 2019 and 2020 to help cut through the noise and alleviate those anime streaming woes.
Mob Psycho 100 II
What’s It Like? Bored to Death meets Legion
Where Can I Watch It? Crunchyroll, Funimation (Sub and Dub), Adult Swim (Dub only)
There’s nothing like a good comeback story. Few anime have such incredible turnarounds between seasons as Mob Psycho 100 did. During the show’s first season, the creator’s sister series, One-Punch Man, was the more impressive of the two.
