A Certain Sacrifice (1979)
Complete basement junk
Complete basement junk, that will make you sick while watching! The biggest con in Video market history. First of all I like to say, that this movie was shot in 1979, before Madonna hit the big time. It was released in 1985, and Madonna tried to (unsuccessfully) file a lawsuit to ban the movie. And it's no wonder why, the story is so crap, that is not worth going into, the production value sucks (at one point in the movie we see the colors fade up and down, the sound is sometimes clear, and sometimes sounds as if someone's farting!!...... And I could go on.) and the acting is like as if the players can't wait to go home. Even the most obsessed fan of Madonna can't be interested in this junk. It is most definitely the worst film, anybody can see. I recommend this title, if they wish to go through an unbearable experience!!
Rebecca (1940)
Hitchcock's first American movie
Hitchcock's first American movie, was this chilling thiller, set in England! Was the only one to have won a best picture Academy Award. Brilliantly acted and hugely atmospheric as you would expect from Hitchcock.
The Relic (1997)
Silly little flick
Extremely entertaining, but very silly horror flick. Just another Alien set in a museum. Except you'll be rooting for the monster all the way!!
Runaway Car (1997)
A reasonable alternative to speed
This made for t.v car-chase thriller, is nowhere good (as you would expect)as Speed, both on the special effects and the acting. But is a good alterative to the movie. Based on a true story, it's well worth checking out. Better than Speed 2, anyday.
Halloween (1978)
The Most Chilling aspect
The most chilling aspect of the Halloween series, was that of the lunatic's ability to excellently escape death. To watch him fall and than rise, creates more spine thrills, than any amount of gore. This original spawned lots of sequels, but this is still the best. Atmospheric enough, to keep you well interested throughout the entire movie.
Cannibal Women in the Avocado Jungle of Death (1989)
It's like a serious spoof!
Unlike other spoof movies that go way too far, this one can at times at least be taken seriously, within this sort of genre only.
