The Bonnie Hunt Show (1995)
A classic
This is one of the best sitcoms to ever hit the air, but because the networks have no dedication to quality, it vaporized. I will never forgive CBS for getting rid of Bonnie Hunt from their line up. I hope Bonnie gets a new sitcom or becomes a massive star because she is the funniest person in the whole wide world!
The Trouble with Harry (1955)
Deathly hilarious
Who else but Hitchcock could see the motion picture potential of this fabulous story? The visual quality is breathtaking...the autumn landscapes are the best ever filmed. After a slow beginning, the pace picks up to create one of the funniest movies ever made...how many black comedies can claim that?
Patch Adams (1998)
Dreadful
For everyone who thinks this is the best film of 1998 (and there are many), I challenge them to go see October Sky or God Said, Ha and not feel ashamed at liking Patch Adams. This movie is just so bad. It has no dignity, no shame, no quality. It milks every scene for either tears or laughter without ever hitting a constant tone. The production design is frighteningly bland and the performances are pure fluff. It may well be a crowd pleaser, but that doesn't mean it is any good.
Bullets Over Broadway (1994)
Brilliant
This film is utterly spectacular! It keeps getting funnier with each viewing! For those who are scared off by the fact it is made by Woody Allen, need not fear! It does not focus on his sexual hang-ups....it is just pure hilarity! From start to finish, everything is amazing! Particularily, Dianne Wiest, Jennifer Tilly and Chazz Palmenteri! Great fun!
