Rushmore (1998)
I like your uniform guy.
17 July 1999
"Rushmore" is awesome . Bill Murray can act serious as well as funny. This Wes Anderson love story has tons of scenes that make you feel sorry for both characters. Cause they both fall in love with the same women and then they start battling over her which leads to the funny parts. The part where Max tells her he loves her is so heart braking. "Rushmore" is great, the acting is superb, and its over all hilarious. I give it a 9.

what movie were you watching?
17 July 1999
"Wild Wild West" was the dumbest movie I've seen this summer. What was the director thinking. Why would he have Kevin Kline play both Artemus Gordon and the President and then yet try to make the audience believe that they're not the same person and its just a "funny" mix up. They must think the audience is stupid. When a movie with many plot gaps and enough boob shots to choke Jim West's horse I feel "Wild Wild West" was a waste of the film it was shot on. I give it a 3 out of 10.

Oz (1997–2003)
don't click your heels to go here
17 July 1999
"Oz" is one of the best shows on t.v today. The chemistry between the characters is magnificent. The show just sucks you in and your leaves wondering whats going to happen next. Each character has it's own identity and makes you love in a sick weird way. The narration by Augustus Hill is a nice twist by showing the prisoners sides of their stories. "Oz" is very dramatic and intense. Watch if you dare.

Fargo (1996)
The Coen brothers rock
17 July 1999
"Fargo" is one of the best movies of all time. Steve Buscemi is one of the greatest over looked actors. He practically makes this movie. The chemistry between Buscemi and Stormare is very comical and yet you want to see them get the money. All I have to say is that after seeing this movie you'd want to stay clear of a wood chipper. "Fargo" rules. I give it a 10.

# 1 chick flick
17 July 1999
"Steel Magnolias" is the definite chick flick but that doesn't make it bad. This is one of my favorite movies of all times. It can make you cry and laugh at the same time. It should be in every ones home. Sally Fields is great in it. Her break down scene at the cemetery was so incredibly sad. "Steel Magnolias" is a great movie. I give it a 9.

No more Jell-O for me mom!
17 July 1999
"Peggy Sue Got Married" can be summed up in one word cute. You know that no one can ever travel back in time but you just go along with it since the movie is funny and a little dumb at times but the cuteness over powers it. Peggy Sue goes back in time and tries(?) to fix her past by telling off the loud mouth girl, sleeping with a boy she had a crush on, and figuring out where her marriage went wrong. "Peggy Sue Got Married" is a quirky time travel movie that is of course cute. I give it an 7.

The Jon Stewart Show (1993–1995)
pre daily show
2 July 1999
"The Jon Stewart Show" was one of the funniest things on MTV in 1993, so of course it was canceled. This show was the beginning of Jon Stewart's career on televison. It looked like the budget was five dollars yet the show was still witty and smart. It's a lot better than the daily show since the interviews with the celebrities lasted a lot longer . In my opinion The Jon Stewart Show was the best thing that came out of 1993

Question on paying eight dollars
31 May 1999
The Thirteenth Floor was ok if you havent seen the Matrix. This movie could of been a lot better. It was very predictable but Vincent D'Onofrio was great on playing a weird computer geek/psycho killer. The Thirteenth Floor is kind of a disappointment. This one is a must rent

Doug (1991–1994)
bullies, honker burgers, and mayonnaise
14 March 1999
This cartoon is was one of the best things on nickelodeon. Doug is a show about a boy who moves to a new town and how he meets friends, enemies and wacky neighbors. It's great to see how Doug day dreams on how he's going to get himself out of a jam. Most of the time his imagination gets away from him which get him in trouble in the first place but it's only innocent fun. ''Doug'' is a funny show and hopefully the movie will finally give Doug a chance to tell Patty Mayonnaise how he truly feels.

The Wonder Years (1988–1993)
anti Winnie Cooper
9 March 1999
First and foremost, this show was one of the only good things that came out of the 80's even though the show was about the 70's. The Wonder Years is a great show about the life of a boy growing up in surburbia and his thoughts on his family, life and love. Even though most of the episodes were about Kevin getting his heart jerked around by his only true love Winnie Cooper. This show will bring a tear to your eye when Kevin and Winnie fight or when his sister moves or if it's just Wayne sucking up your best friend's hamster.
