The Brady Bunch Movie (1995)
Hi.
To Jay from Southern California: Lighten up, just because a show portrays a decade a certain way, doesn't mean it is wrong. What would classic shows such as I Love Lucy or Leave It To Beaver be like if the 1950s was portrayed how it actually was? People watched TV so they could escape the issues in the nation, they don't want to try to forget about the protests, only to turn on the TV, and see an episode of the Brady Bunch about the protests...
Anyways... This movie is fantastic!! The whole cast is wonderful and do great jobs impersonating the original cast. I highly recommed this movie to everyone. BTW: did anyone notice cameos from the Monkees, and the Partridge Family bus? Hehe... My favorite part is when they dance to "Keep On"
Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999)
This is as funny as the first one
I loved this movie, and from the comments I've been reading people are just too serious when watching this movie. You aren't supposed to think about the movie you're supposed to just watch it. I think Dr. Evil was the best character in the movie, I also liked the scenes with Jerry Springer and the part where Austin and Felicity are in the tent and Dr Evil's army peoples are watching them through the tent and it looks like she's pulling things out of his butt It was so funny. The only part I didn't like was when the fat guy was not wearing any clothes and he had all the food stuff all over him, that was nasty. To the people who are trying to say this movie was a piece of junk, in the words of Dr. Evil: "Don't go there girlfriend!"
Grease (1978)
Grease is the best musical!!
I'm not a huge fan of musicals, but this afternoon Grease was on TBS, so I watched it. This is such a great movie. I love the songs especially "Summer Nights," "We Go Together," "Look at Me, I'm Sandra Dee," and "Grease Lightning." This movie is so great and John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John are so great in it. To that guy who said that this movie may have a little appeal to teenagers if their IQ is low enough: Excuse me! I'm am 15, and I took an IQ test and my IQ was above the national average. So this movie may have some appeal to us teenagers with higher IQ's. You probably don't understand Grease because you thought about it too much. So if you don't like it so much why don't you leave your comments to yourself and not make fun of people who may enjoy this movie.
Inspector Gadget (1999)
A Very Good Movie
Inspector Gadget was a great movie. And luckily they used the same "Inspector Gadget" theme song that was in the cartoon. I like how in the beginning they show how John Brown became Inspector Gadget and how Dr. Claw got his claw. The only thing that I didn't like was the girl that played Penny. I liked the end when Don Adams(the voice of the cartoon "Inspector Gadget") was the voice of Brain.
I Love Lucy (1951)
The best show on the air today!!
"I Love Lucy" is the best show in the whole entire world. Lucille Ball, Desi Arnaz, Vivian Vance and William Frawley have the best chemistry of any cast on any television show. 'Lucy' can be funny without being nasty and crude. I think the thing that made Lucy work was that Lucy is so real, She did whatever it takes to get what she wants and the crazy situations that she gets herself into, but they aren't ridiculous because she takes many logical steps, but gets herself in the craziest of situations. My favorite show is "I Love Lucy" because it is so funny, and the best television show in the whole entire world. It has been estimated that at anytime in the day, somewhere in the world somebody is watching our favorite redhead getting into the craziest of situations. "I Love Lucy" has been dubbed into over 200 different languages. SO TONIGHT WATCH "I LOVE LUCY" ON NICK-AT-NITE AT 11PM(EST/PST) OR 10PM(CST/MST)!!!
Romy and Michele's High School Reunion (1997)
The best movie in the world!
I loved this movie! I bought a copy of it at the videostore in July, and I've watched it a gizillion times since then. I was reading the other comments on here and some people are just so serious. I love the dance sequence between Romy & Michele and Sandy, and I thought it was great that Michele asked Sandy if Romy could dance with them, that shows true friendship. My favorite part is when Romy tells off Christy Masters(What the h*** is your problem Christy? Why are you always such a nasty b****? Do you get some sick pleasure out of torturing other people? I mean yea, ok, maybe Michele and I did make up some lame story, but we only did it because we wanted you to treat us like human beings, but you know what? We don't care if you like us, cuz we don't like you, you're a bad person with an ugly heart, and we don't give a flying f*** what you think!) I love that part. The only part I don't like too much is the dream sequence, but the rest is great. I highly recommend this movie to people who don't take everything so seriously, and enjoy funny movies.
Forever, Darling (1956)
Lucy and Desi are great in this movie!
"Forever Darling" is Lucy & Desi's 3rd and last movie together. This movie is okay but its not the greatest movie in the world, but its not the worst either. I like the end with the camping trip.
The Long, Long Trailer (1954)
Lucy & Desi's best movie ever!
"The Long, Long Trailer" is one of the best movies ever, and certainly Lucy & Desi's best movie together. The part when Lucy falls out of the trailer and into the mud, and then Desi asks her "What's the matter honey? Can't you sleep?" cracks me up everytime. I love the part when Desi's trying to back that giant trailer into Lucy's aunt's driveway. This is one of the best movies ever. Go to your local videostore and rent this movie, and as Lucy said in "I Love Lucy" AND DO IT NOW!
